Most phone programs treat your phone like the problem. They block apps, count minutes, shame the scroll.

That approach works for about a week. Sometimes two. Then your phone comes back, the apps come back, and you're back where you started with added guilt.

la pausa works differently because it starts with you, not the device.

Your phone use is not a moral failing. It's a loop running between your body (the dopamine hit), your mind (the pull of comparison, avoidance, stimulation), your emotions (boredom, loneliness, the always-on pressure), and your life (the schedule, the expectations, the unspoken needs).

A program that only addresses one of those will only change your behavior for a week.

THE APPROACH

Integral coaching is practice-based, action-oriented, and whole-person. Three things to know:

We work with all of you, not just the behavior. Body, mind, emotions, life context. The phone habit lives across all four, which is why willpower alone doesn't move it.

Change happens through practice, not insight. You can read every book about attention and still scroll for two hours. We build small, specific practices that fit your week. Practice, not homework.

What you build is designed to keep working. The goal is not to be held by a program forever. The goal is a new relationship with your phone that stays after the cohort ends.

WHO'S RUNNING IT

Camila Gomez Wills is a Colombian integral coach based in Santa Cruz, California. She is certified through New Ventures West (NVW). 

mareia is her practice. She works with people navigating real change, and she brings the same approach to la pausa: practical, action-oriented, no fluff, no formula. She built this program because clients kept bringing phone overwhelm into sessions and she wanted something that addressed it directly, in community, with practice that sticks.
